During the annual VetNEST general assembly held at Ohrid lake in Macedonia (September 20 – 22nd 2018), project leader dr. Lada Radin gave an overview of the project to members of VetNEST General Assembly (deans and rectors of University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Wrocław, University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest, University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy in Košice , Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Brno, Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology, University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Zagreb, Veterinary Faculty Ljubljana, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Belgrade, Veterinary Medicine Faculty Tirana and Veterinary Faculty, University of Sarajevo).
The idea for SOFTVETS project came from a long lasting partnership of veterinary schools included in VetNEST network, and 4 of the project partners are originally members of VetNEST: Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Zagreb, Veterinary Faculty Ljubljana, University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna and University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest.
The project started in September 2018 and will last until October 1st 2020. It is funded by Erasmus+ program with a total budget of 226716 EUR. Project Reference is 2018-1-HR01-KA203-047494 .
